Bella – A Beautiful and Friendly All Black German Shepherd Dog

Bella is a stunningly good looking all black female German Shepherd.  She is shy when initially meeting new people but will warm up quickly and be friendly with people of all ages.  Bella loves to be with people and enjoys playing or going out for long walks.  Bella has lived with a active male German Shepherd, and she is good with dogs in a social setting.  Once she settles in, she can be a bit bossy, so would do best with a more laid back dog, preferably male.  No cats.

She was recently surrendered to an inner city shelter where she did not get much attention.  Sedona was alerted to her need for rescue by our friends at Second Chance Pet Adoption League in Oakland, NJ.  If you are looking for a nice smaller adult dog, check them out.  Bella has been trustworthy in her foster home and would do fine in a crate while transitioning to a new home.

Bella walks nicely on a leash, is spayed and in good health.  She is 6 years-old.  Since we do not know if she spent much time around small children, she would do best in a home with older children.   Bella is settling in nicely and enjoying the company of all of our volunteers but is ready for her forever home.  She rides nicely in a car, hopping right in for her next adventure.
