Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary Georgia 1

FEMALE – Pure Bred German Shepherd
AGE: Approximately 3 years old
CHILDREN: Good with children but does like to jump
DOGS: No other dogs in household
CATS: No cats

Sweet as a Georgia Peach.  Sweet Pea.  Sweat Georgia Brown.  There is a sweet theme going on with our newest girl Georgia.  This beautiful and affectionate German Shepherd came to our program just looking to find a forever home.

Georgia is always ready to explore and introduce herself to new people.  Georgia has been snuggling up to all of our volunteers and just loves to be around her new friends.  Outside, Georgia is a big fan of tennis balls, or maybe we should say a big fan of chasing and shredding tennis balls.  Georgia loves to head out on a long walk and is always stays close.

We are teaching Georgia some basic commands.  Even more exciting for Georgia is a big soccer ball or large Kong ball to push around like Carli Lloyd.  We are teaching Georgia some basic commands.  We estimate Georgia to be about 3 years old.  Georgia has started to fill out and is now in great shape.  She did come to our program right as she was going into heat, so we would be adopting her out on a spay and neuter program.

Georgia is not a fan of sharing her human friends with other animals, so he needs to go to a home without other dogs or cats.

If you are interested in possibly adopting or fostering Georgia, you can request for more information at or fill out an adoption application form.
