Sweet as a Georgia Peach.  Sweet Pea.  Sweat Georgia Brown.  There is a sweet theme going on with our newest girl Georgia.  This beautiful and affectionate German Shepherd came to our program just looking to find a forever home.

Georgia is always ready to explore and introduce herself to new people.  Georgia has been snuggling up to all of our volunteers and just loves to be around her new friends.  Outside, Georgia is a big fan of tennis balls, or maybe we should say a big fan of chasing and shredding tennis balls.  Georgia loves to head out on a long walk and is always stays close.

We are teaching Georgia some basic commands.  Georgia came to our program at the end of June and she is underweight.  We also believe that she probably had at least one litter of puppies in her recent past.  She is yet to be spayed.  We estimate Georgia to be about 5 years old.  So far she is friendly and ignores other dogs, and we think it is possible she might tolerate a cat, but we are still working on finding out.

Although Georgia is not yet ready for her forever home, we are starting to take applications for foster or adoption for sweet Georgia.

If you are interested in possibly adopting Bengie you can request for more information at or fill out an adoption application form.
