Blue is a loving, playful and healthy German Shepherd whose friendly personality is demonstrated as soon as he welcomes you. Even at 5 years old, Blue still has a joyful and playful puppy energy about him. Blue has many friends, both of the two and four legged kind. He is a good neighborhood dog. As you can see from his pictures, Blue loves to play catch or tug of war with his toys of choice.

If you have children, Blue will be happy to play with them. He has grown up with children of all ages. Not only children, but Blue also likes to play with other dogs and ignores any cats he sees on his daily walks. He is also always up for a road trip, no matter the distance. Blue has received basic obedience training and knows all of his commands. He is trustworthy in a house, likes his create and of course happy with his toys.

Blue is currently in our owner referral program. He is currently located in the Bronx. We would like to help get him adopted directly with his family, but he may end up coming into our foster program. Blue is eligible for our foster to adopt program. This program allows a potential adopter the ability to first foster the dog to make sure it is a good fit. This program also helps us bring owner surrender dogs into our program.

He will make a great addition to any home looking for a fun, sweet and loving German Shepherd.
