Picture’s don’t do justice to just how sweet our Sasha is when meeting new people. This friendly German Shepherd is always curious and ready to make new friends. Sasha is friendly and welcoming to adults and children and is extremely affectionate, leaning into our volunteers, looking for hugs and pets.   She loves playing with her human friends and going for long walks, or running around in a yard.  She knows the basics of sit and stay and is extremely quick and eager to learn.

Sasha did live with another German Shepherd before coming to Sedona.  With new dogs, Sasha can vary from curiosity to getting a little chippy.   She would probably do best as an only dog.  She would need to spend a fair amount of time with any new dog she might try to co-exist with. 

Sasha was surrendered to Newark Shelter when her owner had to move into assisted living facility. According to her prior owner, Sasha showed up one day as a stray and stayed for the past few years. She has spent time with children of all ages.
