In Memory of The Original Thor

What can we say about Thor? Do you have about 30 minutes. We will keep it short. All the volunteers at Sedona Shepherd love this boy. His road has been long and winding, but today he is a permanent member of the Sedona team. Thor is about 9 years old. He loves to play with his toys and is happiest hanging out with Sedona volunteers, especially his best friend Kasey.

Thor was a day away from being euthanized when a guardian angel took him into his home. Unfortunately, Thor was not willing to make friends with other dogs in the family. Once he came to Sedona Shepherd, he was adopted out twice, but both times for different reasons the adoption didn’t work out. Maybe he just wanted to be with his Sedona pack.

Through it all Thor has been a trooper. He has had a number of medical issues, including needing his ear canal removed and the loss of one eye due to glaucoma. Nothing has slowed him down. We are thankful for all of his supporters and glad to take care of Thor for the rest of his life.
